Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This notice explains how Quit Weed handles consumer health data. It is separate from the Privacy Policy.
Consumer health data we collect
Quit Weed may collect or process the following consumer health data when you use the app or turn on optional cloud backup:
- your quit date, progress timing, usage methods, amounts, frequency, and spending,
- optional health-related details you choose to enter for recovery and health-insight features,
- app preferences connected to your quit journey, including notification choices, and
- account identifiers needed to connect your optional cloud backup to your Apple or Google sign-in.

We collect this data from you, from your use of Quit Weed, and from the Apple or Google sign-in provider you choose if you create an optional account.
How we use it
We use consumer health data to:
- provide quit tracking, progress, milestone, reminder, and health-insight features,
- back up and restore your data if you turn on cloud backup,
- sync your backed-up data across signed-in devices,
- secure the account and prevent abuse, and
- respond to privacy, support, safety, or legal requests.
Sharing
We do not sell consumer health data. We do not use consumer health data for advertising. We share or disclose it only as needed to provide the app and optional backup through service providers such as Google, Cloudflare, Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, and email providers used for support and privacy requests.
Your choices and rights
- Cloud backup is optional and off by default.
- You can turn cloud backup off in the app. This deletes the backed-up usage data from cloud storage.
- You can delete your account in the app, or request deletion at quitweed.app/delete-account.
- You can ask to access, correct, or delete consumer health data we hold by emailing privacy@quitweed.app.
