Disclaimer

Quit Weed is a consumer self-help, general wellness, educational, and progress-tracking product for people trying to quit or reduce cannabis use. It is not offered or marketed as a regulated medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, monitor, or manage any disease, disorder, addiction, withdrawal complication, or other medical or mental-health condition.

1. What the product is

The app and website provide habit tracking, motivational content, educational material, milestone systems, source-based health and withdrawal timelines, and recovery-support guidance. That content is provided for general informational, self-reflection, and wellness purposes only.

2. Health timelines and milestones are estimates

Any health timeline, recovery milestone, symptom pattern, clearance estimate, or similar content in Quit Weed is general educational information based on published sources, generalized assumptions, and product judgment. Timeline output may use the date and other information you enter, but it remains an estimate.

These timelines and milestone descriptions are not direct measurements of your body, lab results, clinical findings, or proof of what is happening inside a specific individual at a specific moment. They are not guarantees, and they should not be read as a personalized medical finding or prediction.

3. Not medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice

Nothing in Quit Weed should be treated as individualized medical advice, psychiatric advice, therapy, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment planning, or clinical support. The app does not replace a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional, and using it does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or similar professional relationship.

4. No monitoring, alerts, or clinician connection

Quit Weed does not continuously monitor you, review symptoms in real time, interpret live health data, send medical alerts, provide emergency escalation, or connect you to a clinician. It cannot determine whether a symptom is normal, dangerous, improving, worsening, or unrelated to cannabis.

5. Individual recovery varies

Cannabis withdrawal and recovery vary significantly from person to person. Published evidence is limited for some questions, mixed for others, and often reflects group averages rather than individual outcomes. Your experience may be shorter, longer, milder, more severe, different in timing, or affected by other health, psychiatric, medication, sleep, substance-use, or lifestyle factors.

6. Sources and scientific limits

Source citations are provided to support general educational content, but scientific understanding changes over time. Studies may be small, mixed, incomplete, simplified for readability, or later updated. Some app wording condenses broader evidence into shorter timeline-style explanations. Referencing a source does not mean every statement is universally settled or predictive for you personally.

7. When to seek professional help

Speak with a qualified healthcare professional if you have severe, unusual, worsening, or persistent symptoms, or if you are unsure whether something may require medical attention. Seek urgent in-person help or contact local emergency services if you are in crisis or may be experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, including chest pain, breathing difficulty, suicidal thoughts, psychosis-like symptoms, seizures, or other alarming symptoms.

8. No guaranteed outcomes

Quit Weed does not guarantee that you will quit successfully, stay abstinent, avoid relapse, experience any particular withdrawal pattern, or achieve any specific medical, psychological, physical, financial, or personal result.

9. Personal responsibility

You remain responsible for your own choices, health decisions, legal compliance, and use of the product. If you download or use Quit Weed through Apple or Google, the relevant store terms, billing rules, and platform policies also apply to your use of the product.

10. Related legal pages

The broader legal and data-handling rules for the product appear in the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

Important: use Quit Weed as a self-help and educational tool, not as a substitute for medical evaluation, treatment, or emergency support.
